Alessa is a purpose driven entrepreneur. She is an MSc candidate in Kinesiology at McGill University and is the cofounder & COO of Algi (algifoods.com), a producer of delicious, purpose driven food products centred around spirulina algae. She is passionate about sustainability, science, and entrepreneurship.Her initiatives have received national and international recognition by CBC Radio, Enactus Canada, the Smart Kitchen Summit, and the University Startup World Cup. When Alessa isn’t working, she enjoys eating great food, reading, and playing with her dog, Ramsay.
